POSITION DESCRIPTION
In this role you will perform the following functions:
- Establish processing/mixing instructions for production of various compounds
- Regular review/modification of processing instructions.
- Active involvement in optimization of production rates.
- Addressing process related quality incidents and customer complaints
- Daily supervision of QC Laboratory staff.
- Addressing daily quality control related issues.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, polymer science, or related engineering /science discipline.
- 5+ years experience in supervisory, process, and manufacturing environment
- Ability to work with all levels of staff.
- Knowledge in thermoplastics, thermoplastic elastomers, polymer blends, and polymer compounding as applied to flexible PVC and TPE compounds preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
TRAVEL: Some domestic travel may be required
