Division: Thermoplastics Elastomers
POSITION DESCRIPTION
In this role you will be responsible for leading, supporting and motivating a group of market managers to source potential applications within a targeted market segment and obtain qualifications/specifications for TPE products. Overall responsibility to increase sales volume and gross profit for the company within the targeted market on a global basis.
Will be required to develop marketing plans, perform market analysis, do competitive analysis, identify prospects and execute the marketing plan in an organized, well thought-out manner.
Position will also have some direct key account sales responsibility and will include technical service work – resolving customers processing issues.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required; preferably in a science or technical area. MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of commercial polymer business development experience.
- Demonstrated development of significant new value-added business in industrial markets.
- Proven ability to perform technical service work at customer locations is an essential requirement of the position.
- Solid leadership experience is essential to the success of this position.
