PVC FireGUARD Color Concentrates to Meet Munsell EIA-359-A Standards

The Teknor Color concentrates for use with Teknor Apex Vinyl Division’s Fireguard® PVC plenum compounds meet Munsell EIA-359-A standards. When coloring highly filled compounds such as flame-retardant PVC, these products offer two significant advantages:

1. Higher coloring power – The pigment loadings have been adjusted to compensate for the high opacity of the flame-retardant compound. Because they are stronger, they remain vivid even when used with highly opaque compounds. They are designed to be used at the same usage ratios as traditional Munsell applications of 2%.

2. Ingredients which are consistent with low smoke compounds – The ingredients in the carrier compound are consistent with the ingredients used in low smoke compounds.
