Frosted/Translucent
Six color concentrates (light blue, light green, lime, dark green, yellow and red) enhance the consumer appeal of PP products by imparting a soft, translucent “frosted effect.” Based on heavy metal-free pigments in a PP carrier resin, the line produced the frosted effect uniformly throughout the molded or extruded product.
Users can now build on the natural translucence of this material by adding color and creating an attractive “veil-like” appearance.
Frosted colors are supplied as nominal 0.125 to 0.0625 in. pellets or beads and can be used with homopolymer or copolymer PP resins at let down ratio of 50:1.
