Brochure Outlines Advantages of Uniprene 7100 Series over Rubber, Other TPEs

Teknor Apex Company has produced a color brochure that provides technical information on Uniprene (registered trademark) 7100 ther moplastic vulcanizates (TPVs), a new series of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compounds that perform like cured EPDM rubber but process with the ease and speed of thermoplastics.

The four-page brochure includes property and processing data on seven grades of the Uniprene 7100 Series compounds, including four tables on general physical properties, compression set, and temperature settings for extrusion and injection molding. Data on compression set show that, even at elevated temperatures, Uniprene TPVs exhibit excellent elastic recovery.

The brochure also explains the recycling advantages of Uniprene 7100 TPVs and suggests potential applications.
