Corporate Regulatory Affairs Mission Statement
The goal of the Teknor Apex Company Regulatory Affairs Team is to manage risks to the environment and worker safety and health for the company. To this end, the team will develop and maintain a proactive corporate culture and an environmental, health and safety management system which will:
Develop policy and secure Management approval; Work with Engineering, Maintenance and Line Management to provide a safe and healthy work place;
- Facilitate compliance with all federal, state and local environmental, health and safety regulations;
- Communicate and coordinate Regulatory Affairs programs, procedures and objectives throughout the organization;
- Recognize that the team cannot meet its objectives without all employees' support and involvement;
- Minimize the environmental impact of our operations, including reduction of emissions and wastes;
- Provide technical as well as regulatory guidance and support services to the Company;
- Influence local, state and federal regulatory development primarily through industry groups;
- Continuously evaluate Teknor Apex Company's performance and implementation of its Regulatory Affairs programs.
