Instex® is PVC color concentrate that is cryogenically ground powder that provides PVC compounders superior and faster distribution of concentrate during blending. It also allows dryblend compounders to enhance product quality and reduce dust during handling and blending.

Instex is offered as a composite color match or single pigment dispersion.

Composite Color Matches - We can custom formulate a matched color specifically for your requirements. Matches range from critical to commercial tolerances.

Single Pigment Dispersion - disperses more readily than raw pigments, permitting greater control over color development and minimizing work place clean up and waste disposal.

An advantage of Instex is the safer and cleaner handling by workers because pigments in Instex are already incorporated into a carrier resin in the form of a free-lowing, low dusting powder that contains no solvents. Raw pigments, by contrast, are not encapsulated in plastic and are more prone to dusting during handling. They consequently present a greater risk of occupational exposure through inhalation that Instex concentrates.
