The Chemical Division of Teknor Apex is a custom producer of esters for various uses. The markets that we serve include plasticizers (both PVC and non-PVC), synthetic lubricants, polymer intermediates, cosmetics, and FDA. We are a toll producer of a variety of these chemicals for many major multinational companies. We also produce traditional as well as specialty proprietary plasticizers and additives that are used internally by our compounding divisions.

Our production facility is strategically located in Brownsville, Tennessee. Our four process lines offer flexibility in features and in capacity. Typical raw materials handled are alcohols, glycols, mono acids, and dibasic acids. We receive and ship material by both truck and rail. In addition to bulk we offer drum and tote packaging.

Manufacturing is supported by a full service laboratory at the plant, as well as by our corporate analytical laboratory in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Teknor Apex’s expertise in plasticizer chemistry improves the overall performance of our products in PVC, TPE, and Rubber compounds.
