Teknor Color Company is making strides on its way to becoming the leading color concentrate manufacturer servicing the Building and Construction Industry. With a well-established presence in the interior trim, molding, flooring and vinyl membrane market, Teknor Color has been working hard to develop its product line to service the exterior markets as well.

We recently developed our TEKpro® color palette of 14 standard colors for the building and construction market. This line was formulated using only light stable pigment chemistries that can be adapted to incorporate custom or standard UV package technology. In addition, the colors were matched in five of the industries’ most widely used polymers: HDPE; filled and unfilled PP; and rigid and flexible vinyl.

TEKpro is available in multiple product forms that allow us to offer you the optimized product form to match your process. Teknor Color is capable of providing “one pack” technology by incorporating multiple raw material components into one concentrate, i.e. color, UV and lubricants – or color, UV and biocides. This reduces the number of raw materials you need to buy, store and handle in your process. This “one pack” delivers you a clean, efficient, and effective single product.

Teknor Color is continuously improving our weathering, plastic protection and longevity studies to better serve the building and construction market. We have QUV and Xenon Arc weather-testing capabilities as well as partnerships with our additive suppliers to deliver the technology of tomorrow to today’s plastics construction materials.
