Chem Polymer produces a wide range of globally available products for use in electrical and electronic applications. Chemlon® and Beetle® brand flame retardant nylon 6 and 6.6 are available in both reinforced and unreinforced grades. Chem Polymer is a leader in non-halogenated FR systems, delivering a unique balance of properties and flammability performance. All of these products are available in natural, black and custom colors.
Typical applications include electrical switches, housings, connectors, terminal blocks and coil bobbins.
Many Chem Polymer products are UL-rated and have been assigned flammability and thermal index ratings. We also have received approval from many European regulatory bodies as well as 960-degree C glow-wire ratings. If you do not see a required rating on a particular Chem Polymer product, please contact your local Chem Polymer representative.
