It is Chem Polymer’s policy to manage and utilize resources to minimize any permanent impact on the environment.
This will be achieved by :
- Operating our processes in accordance with or better than, legislative and regulatory requirements and implementing procedures which comply with ISO14001
- Monitoring and controlling environmental performance to ensure that all processes are operated to minimize their adverse environmental impacts
- Setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets toward continuous improvement
- Manufacturing and packaging our products in ways which minimize the energy, other resources utilized, and the amount of waste produced
- Assessing in advance the environmental impacts of any new product or process, and ensuring that new plant is designed using best available technology where appropriate and economically viable
- Considering the effect of our operations on the local community and taking account of their views
- Raising the awareness of our workforce to the importance of environmental issues and providing them and other interested parties with clear, up-to-date information on the Company’s environmental performance
