PVC Recycling
Teknor Apex has an active program of PVC scrap reclamation for use in the production of our Apex garden hose. If you generate scrap, it may be convenient to have an ongoing, dependable program for the removal of scrap from your processing facility.
We are always looking for good sources of scrap. We are a continuous buyer with steady year round requirements. We are interested in developing stable, long-term relationships for scrap purchase. Depending upon where you are located, we may be able to send in one of our fleet of trucks for regular pick-ups. We pay promptly and because we are the user, you do not need to deal with a broker.
Our requirements for scrap are:
Flexible PVC only
Bleeder, purge, regrind and or/pellets
Must be uniform and free of any contaminates(I.e. paper, metal or debris)
Targeted hardness range is 82-86 Shore A
Lowest acceptable hardness is 75 Shore A
