Medalist® Medical TPEs for Overmolding (2K and Insert Molding) – Product Selector Guide

Overmolding a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) onto rigid plastic can enhance a product’s features, including ergonomics and safety, by adding a cushion to increase comfort level, improve grip, or even contribute to vibration damping. Overmolding can also improve a product’s functionality, by creating a liquid tight seal, for example. Medalist® medical-grade TPEs provide medical device manufacturers many options for overmolding onto a wide range of engineering thermoplastics.
