Nylon 6 Flame Retardant
Nylon is inherently V-2 in its unreinforced form. The only means of increasing this UL rating requires the compounding of Flame Retardant additives. Teknor Apex maintains state of the art technology to create V-0 rated nylon compounds. We have glass filled and unfilled systems based on non-halogenated Flame Retardant performance. We also maintain older technology that may be a fit based on the regulatory and mechanical needs of the application.
