Flame Retardant
<Nylon is inherently V–2 in its unreinforced form. The only means of increasing this UL rating requires the compounding of Flame Retardant additives. Teknor Apex maintains state of the art technology to create V–0 rated nylon compounds. We have systems based on non–halogenated Flame Retardant performance. We also maintain older technology that may be a fit based on the regulatory and mechanical needs of the application.
