Integrating Teknor Apex’s color capabilities, the self-texturing PVC (Apex 1545-40D ST) creates an even finish and consistent, blemish-free appearance as it is extruded, eliminating any secondary operations like top-coating or texturing.
This new technology enables manufacturers to control texture and gloss levels, yielding a homogeneous, scratch-resistant finish that stands up to the harsh weathering performance requirements of automotive OEMs.
