Our Regulatory Affairs Department administers the following areas of government regulations, voluntary consensus standards, and compliance to internal product/process requirements:

  • Global Food and Medical Requirements

    • United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)
      • On July 1, 2020 the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) was implemented, replacing the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Teknor Apex has evaluated the USMCA and will provide a USMCA certificate upon request.  Please contact your Teknor Apex Sales Representative for further information.

    • Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act

      • The Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) was signed into law in December 2021 and takes effect on June 21, 2022.  At that time, the U.S. will ban imports of all goods made in whole or in part for any good sourced from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR) in China.  This act deems all goods whether mined, produced, or manufactured in the XUAR, to be produced by forced labor. Teknor Apex is currently surveying our supply chain and have found that we are not sourcing any raw materials from this region.
