The Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) was signed into law in December 2021 and takes effect on June 21, 2022. At that time, the U.S. will ban imports of all goods made in whole or in part for any good sourced from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR) in China. This act deems all goods whether mined, produced, or manufactured in the XUAR, to be produced by forced labor. Teknor Apex is currently surveying our supply chain and have found that we are not sourcing any raw materials from this region.
