Structural Applications for Repeated Use

For structural applications intended for repeated use or that endure constant handling, Desmoflex® reinforced TPUs are the premier choice. These materials combine the key features of TPU – impact toughness, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and excellent low temperature performance, with significant improvements in strength and stiffness. This combination allows for replacement of engineering resins, with the additional benefits of better vibration dampening characteristics and dry haptics for a nice feel. Desmoflex TPU compounds can be ether or ester based, contain up to 30% glass reinforcement, and are available from 55 to 75 Shore D in black, natural, or custom colors. These materials are suitable for both injection molding and extrusion applications in a variety of industries.
