RG-50000 Series: TPEs for Closure Liners
These high performance TPEs are designed to meet the performance demands of various liner application processes, including: Hot-Fill, Aseptic-Fill, and Retort. The Monprene® RG-50000 Series is made with FDA compliant ingredients which are safe for food contact. These TPEs can be formulated to provide low, medium, or high oxygen and moisture barrier properties. Select materials are formulated for superior high-temperature resistance (>212oF/100oC), particularly for retort-filled processes. Grades can be formulated to adhere to PP or PE caps, and can be used with aluminum as well. Typical applications include fruit juices, sports drinks, nutraceuticals, condiments, and even automotive fluids like motor oil.

RG-70000 Series: EVA Blends for Closure Liners
For beverage closures whose liners are applied using the Cold or Ambient-Fill process, Monprene® RG-70000 Series offers clean, cost-effective solutions. These EVA blends work well with PE closures for carbonated water and soft drinks. These materials can also be used with aluminum, in the ROPP process used for beer and malt beverages. The Monprene® RG-70000 Series is made with FDA compliant ingredients suitable for food contact. Select grades are modified for improved oxygen barrier performance.

Monprene® TPEs are extremely versatile materials that are formulated to meet the complex requirements of a wide range of closure designs. Co-developed with the major leaders in this industry, standard grades are pre-qualified in various designs and approved by OEMs and major brands; improving your speed to market.
