Apex® Rigid PVC for Building & Construction
Teknor Apex has an established portfolio of rigid vinyl compounds for your building and construction needs as both dry blend or pellets in a wide range of custom colors. Some of our proven compounds include: UV- and color-stable exterior grade rigids, foam dry blends, and UL and NSF certified molding compounds.
Our rigid compounds can be used in the production of a variety of pipes, conduits, fittings, and a broad range of profiles. These can be used for supplying drinking water as well as removing industrial waste. Standard grades for extrusion and molding are available in natural, clear, or white formulations.
Interior Extrusion Grades
These high-performance interior extrusion grades come in a variety of finishes and exhibit excellent chemical resistance, high impact strength, and superior flow properties. Available in UL and NSF certified grades as well as grades using FDA-listed ingredients according to 21 CFR.
Exterior Extrusion Grades
Our portfolio of rigid compounds includes high-performance exterior extrusion grades in a wide range of colors with excellent weatherability, ensuring color-stability. These compounds exhibit high impact strength, superior flow properties, and low heat absorption. UL and NSF certified grades are available.
Molding Grades
These molding grades are known for their high impact strength, tensile modulus, and chemical resistance. They are designed for small to large part molding and have excellent processability and UV stability options. UL and NSF certified grades are also available.
Exterior
Exposure to UV, cold, heat, and moisture can lead to color changes, surface crazing, and embrittlement. These elements often work together to cause more damage than any one factor alone. At Teknor Apex, we have developed outdoor grades to meet the rigors of outdoor exposure without compromise to the product integrity.

Interior
Formulated for both single and twin screw extrusion, Teknor offers a range of standard products designed to optimize performance where UL and NSF 51, 61 Certification is required. Apex® Rigid PVC compounds are well suited for even the most complex profiles used in interior applications.
