(Jiangsu, China)…In an effort to continuously raise the standards of their global operations, Teknor Apex Company is announcing the recent certifications awarded to their Suzhou, China plant which include the IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015 and the ISO 45001:2018.

The implementation of these voluntary certifications was in direct alignment with Teknor Apex’s core values of sustainability, safety and accountability.
- ISO 14001:2015 specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS) and supports the environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.
- ISO 45001:2018 standard is intended to improve the safety and health of both employees and other personnel by enabling the organization to proactively improve injury prevention and reduce ill-health, while protecting their longevity.
- IATF 16949:2016 is a technical specification aimed at the development of a quality management system which provides for continual improvement, emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste in the automotive industry supply chain and assembly process.
The ongoing assessment required by these certifications provides a competitive advantage for customers who want to work with a partner who is not only adhering to the highest operational standards but also upholding their commitment to sustainability across their operations.
