Teknor Apex is also, at designated facilities certified to ISO 13485, our QMS supports risk management, traceability, and process validation for medical-grade compounds. For our partnerships with our customers, we offer in-house RnD testing, select labratories are ISO/IEC 17025-accredited by A2LA under the ILAC MRA for defined test methods. IATF 16949: Automotive Quality Management

What Is IATF 16949?

IATF 16949 is the international standard for Automotive Quality Management Systems (QMS), developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and aligned with ISO 9001.

It defines the strict requirements necessary to ensure product quality, defect prevention, and consistency across the global automotive supply chain.

Selected automotive sites ( Suzhou, China and Genk, Belgium) are certified to IATF 16949 by Bureau Veritas and SGS; the standard emphasizes defect prevention and variation reduction in the automotive supply chain.

Bureau Veritas Certification certify that the Quality Management System audited and found Teknor Apex (Genk, Belgium) to be in accordance with the requirements of IATF 16949 for the Design and manufacturing of Engineered Thermoplastic Materials and SGS awarded TA Suzhou with the Design and Manufacturing of modified vinyl polymers.

ISO 17025: Accredited Testing Laboratories

What Is ISO/IEC 17025?

ISO/IEC 17025 is the global standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
It specifies the management, technical, and quality system requirements laboratories must meet to demonstrate their ability to produce valid, repeatable, and impartial test results.

Our accredited labs uphold this standard across all Teknor Apex testing operations, from raw material verification to final product performance validation.

Scope of Teknor Apex Laboratory Accreditation

A2LA has accredited Teknor Apex Brownsville, TN Labratory and Teknor Apex Leominster, MA Labratory for technical competence in the field of Mechanical Testing.

The Tennesse laboratory is accredited in accordance with the recognized International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017. This accreditation demonstrates technical competence for a defined scope and the operation of a laboratory quality management system.
